Clarity at work. Adventure in life.

I’m Marie Mills, founder of Clear Solutions.

I’ve spent more than 12 years helping businesses capture their essential workflows — so they can delegate with confidence, protect institutional knowledge, and stop wasting time reinventing the wheel.

Before starting Clear Solutions, I worked for five years as a business process analyst across multiple industries. I learned quickly that when workflows aren’t written down, businesses lose knowledge the moment someone leaves, managers can’t delegate, teams get frustrated, and efficiency disappears.

So I built a method to fix that.

Client results:

  • 50% faster training — New hires got up to speed in half the time.

  • 75% faster sales closings — Standardized workflows turned bottlenecks into wins.

  • One less hire needed — Redistributed work streamlined teams and cuts costs.

  • Fraud risk reduced — Safeguards built right into the process.

  • Reliable financials — Stronger inventory workflows cut discrepancies and improved reporting accuracy.

I don’t just capture your workflows, processes, and SOPs. I create the clarity that makes businesses stronger, leaner, and able to continue operating smoothly when key employees leave.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and I’ve always been drawn to wild places. Adventure keeps me curious, resilient, and creative — qualities I bring to my work every day.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll probably find me kayaking in the Salish Sea, along Vancouver Island, or on more distant waters.

My parents introduced me to the outdoors as a child, and I’ve enjoyed hiking and scrambling throughout the Cascades and Olympics ever since.

I also believe in giving back. I teach and lead trips for local outdoor clubs, volunteer at a community garden producing food for the local food bank, and at an animal sanctuary giving rescued cats and kittens the care and love they deserve.

These experiences shape how I show up as a consultant: practical, compassionate, and committed. Because, I know that behind every workflow, there are real people whose time, energy, and trust matter.

She is an attentive listener, detail-oriented project manager, and an effective consultant who accomplished what my management team and I could not do ourselves.
